See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

This very large split-level pub was in part designed as a club to serve students at the nearby cable station. The bar room, mainly carpeted with tiles at the bar, features the usual pub games (darts and pool), and there is a large children's area at one end. Outside drinking is on a good sized terrace. Meals are available all day, every day. Parking is in the council car park across the lane, where also lies the Cable and Wireless Museum to the left; the Mynack Theatre is found up the hill on the right, also worth a visit (the main bar and restaurant feature framed posters of Mynack productions). Entertainment includes quiz nights and karaoke.
