Dear CAMRA Member,

Members are invited to submit their votes for the 2018 Branch Pub of the Year (POTY).

Cornwall CAMRA Branch members are invited to vote for their favourite pubs in our branch area, by nominating up to two pubs for the title.  You may also nominate a pub for Cider and Perry POTY, and Club of the Year.  Joint members can each nominate separately. 

Please email our Pubs Officer, Rod Davis, at moc.tenretnitb@reciffo.sbup with the title ‘Cornwall CAMRA POTY 2017 Nomination’ with the following information:

Your name & CAMRA membership Number, 1st POTY nomination, 2nd POTY nomination, Cider and Perry POTY nomination Club of the Year nomination

Please also add a few words stating why you think your nominated pub(s) are worthy of the title of CAMRA Kernow Pub of the Year.  Please bear in mind also the possibility of winning further awards outside our area – the winner will go on to the Regional competition and if it wins that, the national one, something our Branch has shown in the past it can achieve with distinction.

You may choose your pubs from any of those within the Cornwall CAMRA Branch area. A full list of branch area pubs can be found on the WhatPub? website (search on Cornwall CAMRA).

When the nominations are in, the 6 pubs with the highest number of nominations will be visited and inspected by CAMRA branch members according to the Campaigns strict POTY criteria, which include quality and choice of real ale/cider/perry, pub atmosphere, decor, facilities, customer service, and value.

All nominations must be returned to the email address as indicated above, no later please than Saturday 27 January 2017. Please remember our branch has around 1100 members, so let’s have a good response, which will enhance the credibility of the final selections. Remember, it's your CAMRA Branch, and it's your Pub of The Year!
