A host of Friends and Regulars gathered at the Blue Anchor, Helston to Celebrate the Retirement of Tim Sears the brewer of 35 years in post.

Simon the landlord made a speech and presented Tim with a wooden model of a brewer's paddle. Merwin Wass a CAMRA member since 1980 (37 years)presented Tim with the CAMRA gold award and thanked him for what he has done for real ale over his 35 years of brewing at the Blue.

Tim was both surprised and pleased at the gathering to mark his retirement.

On his retirement as the Famous Blue Anchor's Brewer Tim Sears is Presented a CAMRA Gold Award
