Helston to Porthleven Ramble plus Beer Festival. Meet at 11:45 outside the Blue Anchor Helston. (for those travelling on the mainline train, Bus 34 leaves Redruth 10:55 and arrives Helston 11:34). For those that want to, a ramble through Penrose Woods to Porthleven. Alternatively, meet from 1pm onwards at the Atlantic Inn Porthleven who have a small beer festival running.
From there onward to the Ship Inn and the Harbour Inn, Shoals brewery tap if time allows.

MaltingsFest 2026
MaltingsFest 2026 in Newton Abbott will take place between Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th April.
We have been approached by the organisers seeking the support of members from local CAMRA branches to work behind the bar. They are primarily looking for help to serve the ale on gravity from the stillage so you don't need to be concerned if you don't have experience serving keg products.
The festival sets asides a proportion of the profits to be shared amongst the local CAMRA branches based on the number of members from each branch and the hours worked so some funds could be generated for the branch.
