Keltek Brewery wins big

We are getting used to Cornish Breweries winning prestigious national awards lately but now another of our brewers has hit the jackpot in a regional competition.

At the recent Taste of the West (Product) Awards Keltek Brewery of Redruth scooped no less than 11 Gold Awards for its brews.

The beers honoured were:

  •  
  • Engine House (4.0 % ABV)   
  • Wave Breaker (4.0 % ABV)  
  • Heart of Kernow (4.5 % ABV)  
  • Pilot Gig (5.2 % ABV)  
  • Miners Gold (5.1 % ABV)
  •  Grim Reaper (6.0 % ABV)  
  • Big Tackle (4.0 % ABV)   
  • Cornish Chuckle (4.0% ABV) 
  •  Pool of Mist (3.4% ABV)
  •  Beheaded (7.5% ABV)   
  • Panning for Gold (4.0% ABV) 

That pretty much represents all the ales Keltek produce so huge congratulations to brewer Josh and the team at Keltek

 

Other Cornish brewers to win at the awards were Goodh Brewing, Silver for Little Fish, Skinners Brewery who got golds for Falifornia Pilsner, Lushingtons and Portleven as well as a silver for Betty Stogs, and Tintagel Brewery who got golds for Harbour Special and Castle Gold.
